Although consulting projects make up the bulk of my practice, I have been designing and facilitating workshops for many years.

My most frequently offered training events are based on my books,
Working Relationships and Coaching For Emotional Intelligence.

I do not present "off the shelf" training. I have long made a practice of tailoring my presentations to enhance the application of concepts and skills where they really matter…in the workplace.


My presentations are based on the following principles:

  • Close collaboration with my clients to learn more about the participants and the challenges they face that can be addressed in the training.

  • Inclusion of examples drawn from the group's working environment to make the presentation relevant to their experience.

  • Allowing ample time for discussion and questions to draw out examples of application of concepts and skills at work.

  • My training method is based on "tell-show-do." I present content in an interactive format to draw out discussion. I demonstrate the use of skills, creating situations relevant to the participants' work experience. Then participants practice skills, creating role-play scenarios relevant to the challenges they face on a daily basis.

  • I specialize in designing session to make the best use out of the time available for training. I have designed presentations ranging from one hour to five days. I have worked with groups ranging in size from five to more than 100 participants.
